Anneke Sipkens is the CEO of The DOEN Foundation, a charity that uses the annual proceeds it receives from the three Dutch Charity Lotteries (Postcode Lottery, BankGiro Lottery and Friends Lottery)to create a better world. The DOEN Foundation (DOEN) believes that a green, socially-inclusive and creative society is possible because the world is full of committed entrepreneurs with sustainable, cultural and socially-engaged initiatives. People with the courage to take risks in order to put their often pioneering ideas into practice and so inspire others. DOEN offers these people financial support and brings them together to connect them. Anneke joined Deloitte in 2010 after a career spanning more than two decades. She previously held various local and international positions in marketing, innovation and business development at Unilever and Douwe Egberts, where her tasks included making the coffee supply chain more sustainable. At Deloitte, Sipkens carried responsibility for the sustainability advisory & audit team. In this capacity, she supported a broad range of companies and organisations in integrating sustainability into their strategy, innovation and operating processes.
